Strawberry

Impress guests with an unusual strawberry recipe, pairing sweet berries with honey-flavored goat cheese on toasted baguette. Bruschetta, a traditionally savory Italian appetizer is equally delicious with this sweet topping. If toasting the baguette, make only 30 minutes before serving. If not, make no more than 1 1/2 hours ahead.

Directions

If desired, toast baguette slices in a 180°C oven for 10 minutes or until crisp. Cool.
Hull strawberries. Slice each strawberry into several thin slices holding strawberry intact.
Stir goat cheese and honey together in a small bowl; spread about 1 tablespoon onto each bread slice.
Place strawberries on bread fanning strawberry over cheese. Repeat with remaining strawberries.
