Strawberry Club Sandwich

  • 200 grams Driscoll's strawberries
  • 1 tomato
  • 25 ml balsamic vinegar
  • A dash of olive oil
  • 2 sprigs of basil
  • 6 slices of white bread
  • 125 grams cream cheese
  • 50 grams sliced iceberg lettuce
  • 100 grams turkey fillet
  • Black pepper
  • Four long skewers

Experience the tastiest club sandwich elevated by the sweet tartness of Driscoll's finest strawberries. This delightful twist on a classic offers a perfect blend of savory and fresh flavors.

Directions

- Rinse the strawberries, and keep one big, beautiful one apart.

- Cut the rest of the strawberries and tomato in little cubes, and mix it with the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and black pepper.

- Rip the basil leaves in little pieces, and add the strawberry/tomato mix to it.

- Toast the white bread in a toaster, or, if you don't have one, in a pan.

- Put 4 slices of bread next to each other, save the other two for now.

- Put the cream cheese spread on the sandwiches.

- Put a slice of turkey breast and lettuce on every slice of bread. Divide the strawberry/tomato mix between them.

- Halve the strawberry, and tack each half onto a skewer.

- Stack the filled sandwiches onto each other, cover them with the spare sliced toasted bread.

- Stick two skewers in both sides of the sandwich, and cut it into two pieces.
